CHICAGO — Drakewell Kitchens & Closets, founded by award-winning interior designer Joy Williams, celebrated the grand opening of its new showroom with an open house welcoming Chicago’s design community.

The new showroom and design studio, located at 954 W. Washington Blvd., in Fulton Market, was formally introduced to a crowd of architects, designers, and builders.

"What an unforgettable week of celebration," said Joy Williams, Owner and Principal Designer, in a statement to attendees. "We’re deeply grateful for the community of designers, architects, builders, and design friends who continue to inspire and champion our vision."

The Fulton Market space serves as a working gallery, featuring curated vignettes from key partners including Showplace Cabinetry, Knöde crafted by nobilia, Nex Media Wall, and Planika Fires luxury fireplace. A custom closet system designed by Drakewell was also on display.

Drakewell specializes in creating custom kitchens, closets, mudrooms, and offices. The new showroom also houses Williams' interior design firm, Joy Design Studios, enabling the company to offer a "one-stop, custom-tailored solution for the whole home."
Williams added that the team looks forward to utilizing the space for future designer events and welcoming clients to experience the new collections.
