Booth space for Closets and Wood Pro Expos going, going …
Closets Expo and Wood Pro Expo

The co-located Closets Expo and Wood Pro Expo Illinois will feature a comprehensive mix of products sought by manufacturers and specifiers of custom closets, cabinets and other wood products.

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – Booth space for the 2024 Closets Expo, co-located with Wood Pro Expo Illinois, is approaching a sell-out.

Laurel Didier, event sales manager, said that while exhibit sales for the twin-bill show slated for April 18 and 19 were already strong, the “flood gates opened immediately after the holidays.”

“We have added more than a dozen new exhibitors since New Year’s Day bringing the show up to 86-and-counting companies on the floor plan,” Didier said. “We also have several additional exhibit space contracts in the works. We actually added booths to the floorplan to accommodate demand.”

The Closets Expo/Wood Pro Expo floorplan at the Schaumburg Convention Center includes a comprehensive mix of products sought by manufacturers and specifiers of custom closets, cabinets and other wood products. Attendees will find decorative surfacing products, hardware, accessories, full closet and garage displays, design and manufacturing software, woodworking machinery and much more. Exhibitors include an international cast of suppliers and manufacturers. As always, the show will feature the introduction of new products, including some presented by companies that are making their trade show debut.

In addition to plentiful product displays, the Closets/Wood Pro Expo features a full slate of educational activities and demonstrations.

In addition to plentiful product displays, the expo hall will feature a steady stream of activities including free daily keynotes, demonstrations of woodworking technology, closet lighting installation clinic, and the Designer Exchange.

Informational and inspirational full-day conference
The expo is preceded by a full-day, two-track educational conference kicks off the three-day event beginning with an all-delegate keynote address by Daniel Eisenbarth, Results Coach and Business Results Trainer of Robbins Research International. Eisenbarth’s presentation, The Psychology of Business – The Edge of Successful Business Owners, will explore why some business owners are more successful than others.

Following the opening keynote, the April 17 program splits into two tracks curated for closet and woodworking professionals respectively. Because the Closets and Wood Pro sessions follow a concurrent scheduled, Closet Conference attendees can sit in on a Wood Pro Conference presentation and vice versa.

Topics of the Closet Conference, co-sponsored by the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals and Hettich America, include:

  • How to Launch a Design Studio Through Collaboration, presented by Jenny O'Connor, Design Director, Bespoke Closets / Burke Architectural Millwork, and Lis Ritz, Designer, Inspired Closets Chicago

The registration fee for the Closets and Wood Pro Conferences includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tours of Inspired Closets Chicago showroom and Perfection Custom Closets manufacturing facility, a Welcoming Reception and the April 18 reception honoring winners of the annual Top Shelf Design Awards and Young Wood Pro Award.

“Everyone leaves Wood Pro Expo and the Closets Conference & Expo with gold nuggets of new information to help their businesses prosper.” Didier said. “If you are serious about improving and growing your business, this event is not to be missed.”
