HOUSTON -- Quanex Building Products has promoted John Sleva to president of its North American Cabinet Components Division (NACC) based in Minnesota. Sleva most recently was vice president of sales and interim president of NACC, which includes the company’s Woodcraft Industries business unit.

“John has been an integral part of the NACC team for many years, helping it grow both organically and through strategic acquisitions,” said George Wilson, president and CEO, Quanex Building Products. “He has done a great job as the interim president and is an exceptional leader. We look forward to watching him continue to flourish in this role.”

Sleva has been in the hardwood business for nearly three decades working in sales, purchasing and management with increasing responsibility throughout his career. He joined Woodcraft Industries in 1996 and has extensive knowledge of the business, which was acquired by Quanex in 2015.

Sleva earned his MBA from St. Cloud State University and holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Forestry from the University of Illinois in Champaign. See http://www.quanex.com
