NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Deputy Gov. and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and Anatolia Cabinet and Millwork officials announced today the company has selected Baxter, Tennessee, as its first location in the state.

Through the project, Anatolia Cabinet and Millwork will create 56 new jobs and invest $9.6 million in Putnam County. The company’s new facility will be the first and only cabinet and millwork factory statewide operating with an AI-integrated production system, marking an important milestone for advanced manufacturing in Tennessee.

The Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development (TNECD) is the state agency responsible for driving job creation, economic growth, and community development in Tennessee. It works with communities to attract new businesses, provide funding and technical assistance for development projects, and enhance the state's competitiveness through initiatives like improving broadband access and workforce training.

Since 2020, TNECD has supported more than 34 economic development projects in the Upper Cumberland, resulting in more than 3,000 job commitments and nearly $1 billion in capital investment.

“Today’s announcement underscores our commitment to supporting growth and opportunity across rural Tennessee. The creation of nearly 60 new jobs will be transformative for the Putnam County community, and I thank Anatolia Cabinet and Millwork for selecting Baxter, Tennessee as its first location,” notes Gov. Bill Lee

“Four years ago, I made the decision to pursue a new investment – a fully automated, AI-driven cabinet and millwork manufacturing facility in the City of Baxter, Tennessee. We believe this project will bring meaningful economic and technological benefits to Baxter and the surrounding communities. We are proud and excited to open this facility in Putnam County and look forward to becoming an active partner in the community’s continued growth and innovation.” says Temel Islamogu, owner, Anatolia Cabinet and Millwork.
