LAS VEGAS -- The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers is hosting the USO of Las Vegas on the show floor of the AWFS Fair July 17-20, 2019 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“AWFS and AWFS Fair are grateful to have the opportunity to support our troops and their families by supporting the USO of Las Vegas. It is our pleasure to welcome them to our show and to our industry with open arms,” said trade show director Kim Roehricht.

USO is “The Force Behind the Forces,” and they keep service members connected to everything that give meaning to their service

Every dollar raised by the USO Las Vegas stays within the community to serve active duty military, National Guard, and reserve troops and their families. In 2018, they served over 100,000 in Las Vegas alone. They maintain four physical locations in Las Vegas; two centers at McCarran International Airport and one each at Creech and Nellis Air Force Base. 

The USO is not part of the federal government; they operate as a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.  The generosity of individuals, organizations, and corporations supports their activities and the USO is powered by a family of volunteers who contribute countless hours to accomplish their mission of connection.
