Cabinet Makers Learn From Peers at CMA Chicago Regional Event

CHICAGO -- Members from the Cabinet Makers Association recently met in Chicago to network and learn best practices tips from their peers as well as suppliers and other vendor partners.Wednesday, Nov. 4 the group of custom woodworkers gathered in downtown Chicago to tour the showrooms of Hafele America, SubZero and nuHaus, a division of Exclusive Woodworking located in Waukegan, IL.

Canada Moves Up to Global Wood Industry Leader at WMS 2015

The Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo 2015 opens this morning, with more than 250 companies represented at Toronto's International Centre exhibition hall, and a full-day conference session highlighting new technology and materials developments, many making their North American debut. The show runs Nov. 5-7, and opens at 10:00 a.m. each day.

On the board 9 years, Presley helped steer Lumber Liquidators through controversies surrounding Lacey Act violations, and laminate flooring formaldehyde concerns stirred up by a 60 Minutes expose.The flooring company's stock price slid and sales fell dramatically this year.

HIGH POINT, NC – The American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA) has petitioned the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission to adopt the upholstered furniture performance standards and flammability test methods prescribed by California’s Technical Bulletin 117-2013.
