Dims debuts NFT collection

LOS ANGELES – Furniture startup, Dims, recently launched an outdoor furniture line by Dutch designer Christian Heikoop, and now the Los Angeles-based company is gearing up to launch a line of furniture NFTs based on Heikoop’s designs. Eugene Kim, Dims’s founder and CEO, said in a statement, “Crypto and smart contracts had been on our radar for years, but once NFTs took center stage last year, we started to understand how some of the technology could be harnessed for what we do.”

Century Components acquires Dutch Valley Woodworking

Century Components acquired Dutch Valley Woodworking for an undisclosed sum. The purchase and a planned new facility will bring the company's production and warehouse space to about 100,000 square feet. The acquisition, along with the upcoming groundbreaking of Century Component's new 55,000-square-foot facility, will provide the company with more than 100,000 square feet of production and warehousing space by the end of 2022.

Metrie, a North American manufacturer and distributor of millwork solutions announced March 11 that it had entered into an agreement to acquire EL & EL Wood Products Corp., Chino, Calif., which the company says is the premier two-step distributor of molding, millwork, and door products across the Southwest U.S.
