Vollmer celebrated the company’s 100-year anniversary at the AWFS Vegas Fair by offering afternoon cake and continuous live music every day. Heinrich Vollmer founded the company in 1909 with his patented designs for new machines for sawblade maintenance. In addition to the AWFS celebrations, Vollmer will open a new Technology and Service Center at its headquarters in Biberach, Germany, and will be offering various incentives, such as extended payment terms or discounts, to assist customers with machinery purchases during these tough economic times.
