Woodworker Frank Haworth details how he designed and manufacutured a sequoia lawn chair. Haworth says "the chair consists of a frame roughly defining a cube. The seat and back sit within this frame and are made of slats hung on two cylinders running between the sides of the frame. The back can recline."
Portland, OR-based Haworth has a bachelors of architecture degree from Cornell University and a masters of architecture degree from Harvard University.
