Thin Stone Millwork Fabrication Now Offered by Earth Anatomy

Thin Stone Millwork Fabrication Now Offered by Earth AnatomyEarth Anatomy has added a full fabrication service to its already impressive line of thin stone veneer products. This addition allows Earth Anatomy to offer all of its products from its natural raw state harvested from the earth to a finished product/project for all to enjoy.

Earth Anatomy Fabrication, a veteran owned business, was founded in March 2013. The company was formed to create a hybrid environment to bring the stone industry and wood millwork industry together under one roof.

“We are bringing an exciting product to the wood millwork industry to allow lightweight natural stone and wood to be fabricated together," states Chad Williams, founder of Earth Anatomy Fabrication.

Earth Anatomy offers granite, marble, and travertine from 1mm thick with a fiberglass backer up to 19mm thick with an aluminum honeycomb backer. The thin stone offers the same durable surface once laminated to a substrate as thick stone at 80% less the weight. The thin stone provides more strength than thick stone with shatter resistance. Due to the fiberglass backing on the thin stone, you can take a piece and drop it with minimal damage. If you did the same to thick stone, the results would be shattering says Williams.

The stone can be used for vertical and horizontal surfaces. Earth Anatomy Fabrication also offers a full line of trim accessories to match to include custom shower wall panels. The product is not intended to compete with the full thickness market. The one space that the Earth Anatomy product is not recommended for is the kitchen countertop.

About Earth Anatomy Fabrication: Earth Anatomy Fabrication llc is a veteran owned business and a division of Earth Anatomy which is also veteran owned. The vision of the company is to provide a great work environment for veterans and disabled veterans. Quality control is always the top priority with every product/project fabricated.
