WoodTrac is well-positioned for success in 2014 with valuable strategic alliances, new direct mount ceiling products and ceiling color options; along with their popular master and reach-in wood-based closets systems.
Strategic Alliances with Industry Partners
WoodTrac, a division of Sauder Woodworking, is looking forward with anticipation to 2014 due to optimistic building industry forecasts, such as the ten year high Remodeling Market Index (RMI) reported year-end of 2013 by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). With its heritage of innovation, a state-of-the-art manufacturing operation and a large distribution network, WoodTrac is prepared to take advantage of this long-awaited growth forecast for 2014 in both remodeling and new home construction. Additionally, WoodTrac officials point to a series of fresh new industry partnerships as catalysts for growth including 20-20 Technologies, Inc., DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen, ProKitchen, Rev-A-Shelf and SEN Design Group; relationships established within just a few short years of launching the WoodTrac Ceiling System in 2010, the WoodTrac Master Closet System in 2012 and the WoodTrac Reach-in closet system in 2013. New Ceiling Products and Color Options for 2014
Builders, remodelers and homeowners who have enjoyed the beauty and affordability of their popular wood-based drop ceiling system by WoodTrac, will be pleased to hear that WoodTrac has recently introduced a new direct mount wood-based ceiling system. With an appearance similar to the coffered ceiling look of the drop ceiling, the new direct mount panels and moldings will install over joists, plaster or drywall in both new construction and remodeling applications, opening up a whole new range of ceiling design options in rooms throughout the home. Ceiling panels are now available in six different finishes including Abbey Oak, Bank Alder, Cherry, Light Maple and White/Paintable. For a more traditional ceiling appearance, WoodTrac offers an additional panel finish, a knock-down textured surface. Reach-in Wood-based Closet Kits
In response to the demand for a simple, affordable alternative to traditional wire closets, WoodTrac recently introduced a reach-in wood-based closet system. The reach-in closet kits are made from the same materials and finishes as the WoodTrac full-size closet line, thus ensuring high-end quality throughout the home. While builders and closet installers will see the WoodTrac customized reach-in closet system as a product storage differentiator in their homes, homeowners will embrace the engineered wood shelves and railing of the WoodTrac reach-in closet that help efficiently organize the chaos. Master Closet Systems
With the WoodTrac master closet system, homeowners can have the finishes, contour moldings, profiles and framed panels of a more expensive custom closet system at a fraction of the cost. Features like glass doors and 5-panel drawer construction add to a custom, high-end appearance while hardware-like soft close doors are a symbol of WoodTrac product quality. The pre-configured storage towers are 83” high and 15” deep and come in 18”, 24” and 30” widths.
