Weinig Donates Equipment to PSU

PITTSBURG, KS -- Pittsburg State University (PSU) announced that the Michael Weinig Group of Moorseville, NC, has installed a Raimann ProfiRip KM 310M optimizing rip saw, valued at more than $116,000, at PSU. This is the third gift the company has made through the “Partners in Education” program.    

David Miles, associate professor of wood technology at PSU, praised Jeff Davidson, president of Michael Weinig, for his strong support. “He recognizes the importance of providing students the opportunity to use the state-of-the-art equipment and processes. We are grateful to have such dedicated supporters of our program and appreciate the excellent quality of Weinig Group machinery. This rip saw will provide students a glimpse into the future of the woodworking industry. Pittsburg State University sincerely appreciates this significant contribution.”
