LONDON — Construction News reports that Low & Bonar PLC has agreed to sell its contract flooring business, Bonar Floors, to Swiss firm Forbo Holding for $21.8 million. 

Bonar Floors has 760 staff across its manufacturing and sales facilities in the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and China. The firm says it will use the purchase to focus more on technical textiles.
