Meva Wood preparing to show for the first time at WMS

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -- Meva Wood EVA, a Turkish manufacturer of PET, PVC, and acrylic panels, will make its debut at the 2022 Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo (WMS).

Meva says its PET panels, made with recyclable materials, offer a green alternative. The company says PET panels are more durable than PVC and more economical than acrylic surfaces. They are also easy to clean.

Meva, which started as a home construction company in 2004, switched its emphasis to manufacturing decorative panels in 2015 when it built factories in Izmer, Turkey. The company says it exports its products to 40 customers in 40 countries.

Meva Wood Production
Meva Wood says it ships to 40 countries including Canada and the United States.

"We have made serious investments in exports, and as of 2021, we are using 60 percent of our capacity for export,” the company says. “The pandemic process has reflected positively on us. The fact that some production lines have stopped or decreased in Europe and America has caused demand to turn to us. The trade wars between China and the United States have also reflected decisively on us. China is being replaced by Turkey. As a company, we make serious exports to Canada, the USA, Chile, Mexico, and Colombia. The Americas and North Africa are the regions where we export the most.”
