MISSISSAUGA, Ontario - Grass Canada, a member of the international Grass group with a 20-year history in the Canadian market, will present its latest slide and hinge systems, flap and corner cabinet systems and other distinctive kitchen cabinet products at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference & Expo, Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at the International Centre.

From its international headquarters in Austria, Grass has been a leader in the development and manufacture of movement systems for more than 60 years. Today its products are manufactured in factories located in Austria and Germany. According to the company, “The Grass brand stands for visionary development, top quality, technical precision, progressive design and exemplary protection of the environment.”

Grass Canada will exhibit at WMS booth #1027. Here's a quick look at some of the products Grass Canada will display.

Tiomos Hinges can be used with door thicknesses from 14mm to 26mm. While Tiomos works with the customary cup depth of 12.6mm, it is also possible to use a drilling depth of 9mm or with the Tiomos MO, even work without a cup hold, thus allowing a door thickness between 6mm and 26mm. Tiomos’ soft-close damper features a stepwise adjustment and is fully concealed within the hinge arm. “The complex inner workings of this high-tech hinge are hidden from view, much like a Swiss clock movement,” Grass said. (Watch video below.)

Tiomos Mirro, above, soft-close hinges are ideal for mirror and glass door applications. The hinge cup can also be mounted on existing self-adhesive adapters.

Tiomos M0

Tiomos M0 is distinguished by a simple screw connection with furniture doors making it possible to use materials with a thickness of between 6 and 10 mm without the need for cup holes. As a result,Tiomos MOcan be used with thin materials such as aluminum.

Dynapro, above left, is an under-mount slide system that facilitates design freedom. It allows the use of handle-free surfaces, high fronts, wide drawers or unusual materials.

Vionaro

Vionaro, right, winner of the reddot award in 2014, is a cubist drawer system.

The DWD-XP drawer system is available in various colours and dividing systems.

The Kinvaro system comprises four flap system models to accommodate a wide range of storage solutions for kitchens.
