Richelieu Hardware continued to record strong sales gains in the United States while posting a nominal profit gain overall in the first quarter of 2013 compared to that of 2012 - $8.17 million vs. $8.02 million (CAD).

Richelieu achieved consolidated sales of $565.8 million, an increase of $42.0 million or 8.0% over 2011, of which 5.6% from internal growth and 2.4% from the contribution of Outwater Hardware and Madico Inc. acquired in January 2011, along with Provincial Woodproducts Ltd. acquired in March 2011, and CourterCo, acquired in May 2012.
