Weinig finalizes acquisition of Holz-Her

TAUBERBISCHOFSHEIM, GERMANY – Weinig AG announced that Holz-Her came under its ownership effective April 1. Holz-Her will be managed as an independent brand within the Weinig Group with its products CNC, edgebanding machines, pressure beam saws and vertical panel saws. “This step allows both companies to consolidate their global market presence with innovative products and services for wood processing,” Weinig said in a press release posted on its corporate Web site.

Weinig looks to finalize Holz-Her purchase by April 1

TAUBERBISCHOFSHEIM, GERMANY - Weinig AG said it is close to finalizing an agreement to acquire Holz-Her. According to a press release posted on the Weinig's corporate Web site, “Subject to the successful conclusion of negotiations and approval by the Weinig AG board of directors, Holz-Her is expected to trade as an independent brand within the Weinig Group with effect from April 1, 2010, continuing the firm’s rich tradition.”

Weinig makes offer to acquire Holz-Her

TAUBERBISCHOFSCHEIM, GERMANY – Michael Weinig AG, a world leader in solid wood machinery, has reportedly made an offer to purchase Holz-Her Reich Spezialmaschinen GmbH of Nuertingen, Germany. Weinig’s undisclosed offer was reported by Kleine Zeitung. Weinig, which manufactures moulders, optimizing systems and other solid wood processing equipment, has its North American headquarters in Mooresville, NC.

NexGen sponsors call event a ‘success’
