Traditional Glamour wins Best of Show at 2025 Top Shelf Design Awards reception

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Winners of the 2025 Top Shelf Design Awards, sponsored by Rev-A-Shelf, were announced June 12 at a reception during the Closets Conference & Expo in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Taking top honors was Domenic Marcolongo of LV Closet Design, who won Best of Show for his "Wood Closet: Over 18 Linear Feet" project, titled "Traditional Glamour." The fully enclosed wardrobe, lined with handmade doors with unlacquered brass inlays, spotlights craftsmanship and attention to detail. Features include a custom-made watch winder drawer, which serves as the centerpiece of the beautiful marble island, beneath a made-to-order chandelier.

"Every detail of this closet is bespoke to the client, from shoe height spacing to a detailed inventory of hanging clothing," said Marcolongo. "No additional adjustable holes were a top priority of the client, so getting the details tailored to their exact liking was crucial to nailing this."

Marcolongo will receive a $500 prize for Best of Show, and each category winner listed below will receive a $50 prize, including an award plaque and publication in Closets & Organized Storage magazine.

The Top Shelf Design Awards are presented annually to recognize designers for their innovative and creative closet and home organizational designs. Each entry is judged based on the following criteria: 50 percent appearance/design (emphasizing design creativity) and 50 percent functionality and quality of construction/materials.

Special thanks go to the panel of judges: Lauren Schwartz of Meridian Closets, Matt Buell from M Buell Studio, Natasha Shtapauk of The BauTeam, and Eric Marshall from the Closet Training Institute.
