Peel and stick wood planking manufacturer Stikwood will invest $1.4 million at its 45,084-square-foot Michigan facility after receiving a 12-year tax abatement from the city of Kentwood.
Stikwood, makers of self-stick reclaimed wood paneling, says it participated in the KBIS 2016 DesignBites in Las Vegas last week. The Sacramento, California firm has built a thriving business producing and shipping its panels in various species and finishes.
Stikwood has introduced peel-and-stick wood paneling strips. Founder Jerry McCall calls it "a radical new approach to modern wood wall decor, the world's first peel and stick solid wood planking."
Stikwood offers reclaimed wood panels with self-adhesive strips. Creator Jerry McCall says delivery takes about three days. A video shows a wall be covered with weather wood, in reverse.
