Alexander Dodds says its redesigned Model SE-1CNC-D single-end dovetailer has programmable mortise side stops to give custom manufacturers a versatile machine to produce a variety of construction types. The machine can produce both standard English and custom centerline English dovetails at 40-80 drawers per hour, custom width English dovetails, box joints, and with optional equipment, French dovetails.

Weinig Group's EasyStop automatic length stop can be integrated with virtually any machine on which cutting, drilling, or milling takes place. The machining position is achieved automatically after simple input and acknowledgement on the user interface and once the target position is reached, the drive stops the positioning stop, and the necessary machining operation can take place. The position of the positioning stop is actively monitored by the software, and extreme loads are compensated for by the integrated intelligent drive control.

Castle Inc. has announced a new rental program for its Flagship screw pocket cutting machine, the CSI 1.5D. The machine cuts a pocket, drills a pilot hole, and inserts a screw in less than 1.5 seconds and the company says it can reduce associated labor costs by up to more than 30 percent. The company gives the first 60 days for free.
