Drawer slide technology has come a long way from the under mount wood runners you may still find on an antique chest of drawers. To fill this need Häfele America Co. is excited to add the Accuride 3634 and 3634EC to our drawer slide offerings.
“These new slides from Accuride complement our current drawer slide selection extremely well,” says Karen Armour, product manager for Häfele America Co. “They offer great features, a soft close variant and are easier to install than others on the market.”
Suited for deep, base cabinet drawers which commonly store heavy pots, pans and kitchen appliances, the Accuride 3634 can support up to 200 lbs. when side mounted or 75 lbs. when flat mounted. The Accuride 3634EC or “Easy Close” offers soft closing technology and can support up to 150 lbs. Additional applications include residential and industrial storage, garages and commercial kitchens.
In addition to their durable construction, the Accuride 3634 and 3634EC are each equipped with 1” of over-travel, allowing for complete access to drawer contents. There’s even a hold-in detent feature which helps keep drawers closed and secure. These silent, quiet operating slides come in 12” – 28” lengths and can accommodate up to a 42” wide “island” drawer. Available finishes include clear zinc and electroplate black options.
Lastly, a lever disconnect feature makes for easy installation, servicing and removal. And that’s something even your grandmother would appreciate.
