ORLANDO - Creative Concepts of Orlando, Inc., a cabinetry and architectural millwork firm in Longwood, FL, hosted 200 Architectural Woodwork Institute members for a tour during the AWI annual convention today.

Creative Concepts president Wayne Bishop, Sr. Project Manager Patrick Mullery, and Production Manager Wayne Massey conducted the tour through the 34,000 square foot plant.

First stop on the tour of the 55-employee firm was a Biesse Selco beam saw, installed this year.

The tour included views of machinery in action - including a Biesse Rover flat-bed CNC, a Holz-Her Triatholon edgebander, a Biesse Rover point-to-point CNC, and Gannomat Dowel Inserter and caseclamp systems.

Managers also shared manufacturing techniques and business strategies with their peer members of the Architectural Woodwork Institute. Creative Concepts does between $6 million and $8 million in revenue, Bishop said.

The AWI participants also visited Advanced Millwork, Inc.. a manufacturer of architectural millwork and casegoods based in Orlando.
