Tailstock Swing Away for Wood Lathes

The new Powermatic Tailstock Swing Away simplifies the task of removing the tailstock for turning work pieces off the end of a wood lathe. The accessory is designed for use with Powermatic lathe models 3520, 3520A, 3520B, and 2020. In a few steps, the new Powermatic Tailstock Swing Away clears the lathe bed to make room for end-turning operations. With the tailstock locked on the swing away, users loosen the knob and lower the tailstock out of the way. The tailstock can be replaced by swinging it back to position on the bed and tightening the knob. The Powermatic Tailstock Swing Away will not interfere with a bed extension mounted in the lower position, says the company. The Powermatic Tailstock Swing Away (Model PM-SA, Stop Number 6294721) has a 1-year limited warranty. For additional information, please visit www.Powermatic.com
