Lumber Defecting & End Matching Machine

Friulmac's Randomax Evo combines the process of defecting and end matching of lumber. The operator marks the defects in the lumber and a conveyor automatically feeds the board into the Randomax where a sensor detects the mark and the defect is chopped out. While the workpiece is clamped, a shaper cutterhead processes the end match profile. The Randomax Evo also has ability to electronically tally or count the work processed. The tally system and electronic reporting can be linked to the factory mainframe to keep track of quantity produced, lumber yield, and a variety of reports that make the process more efficient, adds the company.
