Hoffmann’s new PP2-NCF is a dovetail routing machine with two routing motors mounted on an NC-axis. The machine is capable of routing up to three keyways for Hoffmann Dovetail Keys into the mitered ends of moulding profiles. Different routing heights can be set for each keyway location to take advantage of the thicker portion of profiled stock. More than 500 different moulding profiles can be stored for quick recall and repeat accuracy. A color touch-screen aids in data entry and the optional QR code scanning allows the scanning of codes from worksheets. Typical applications include base and crown moulding joinery, trim frames, bolection moulding, elevator interior trim frames, mirror frames, wall paneling frames, door and window casing joinery, mitered cabinet doors, shutter and blind frames, etc.
