German Beech
August 25, 2011 | 10:59 pm CDT
Pollmeier offers German beech, which it says can emulate the rich colors of more expensive hardwoods, like cherry, walnut or mahogany. The company says German beech’s grain pattern and light uniform color take a variety of finishes well. PEFC-certified German beech is moderately priced and highly durable; and is an appropriate choice for cabinets, furniture, moulding and millwork, the company adds.
