Biesse's Viet has introduced the new S2 321 HRK planer/sander which provides the ability to calibrate and sand glued solid-wood panels. It features auto exclusion of the knife unit from the control panel. The knife unit is extractable from the side and a double over-thickness sensor is activated when knife head is excluded. With a stock removal of 1/8in. and finish sand 180 grit in a single pass, the S2 321 features a 30 HP dedicated motor for the planer unit and has a 43 inch working width, and a 103 inch abrasive belt length.
