The primer tackles tough interior stains, including smoke, water, grease, and tannins, and can be used on drywall, wood, plaster, masonry, and metal.

Available in quarts, 1-gallon, and 5-gallon containers, the brush-on version allows for easy rolling, brushing, or spraying, while the 12 oz. aerosol provides fast-drying, precise application for smaller or targeted projects. The primer sands easily and enhances the performance of Valspar topcoats, helping deliver professional-quality results.

Valspar’s Oil-Based Primer + Sealer expands the company’s existing primer lineup, which includes options such as High-Build Primer, PVA Primer/Sealer, and Stainblocking Bonding Primer.
