Wood shredders and turnkey systems

Processing scrap with Vecoplan shredders and turnkey systems maximizes space and generates additional revenue opportunities, the company says. The processed material can be sold as mulch or animal bedding, as a fuel source, or a component material in engineered wood products.

Greenwood or dry wood, large scrap or small scrap, hardwoods or softwoods, solid or composites, Vecoplan says its wood recycling equipment can handle all types of scrap wood. For general scrap, of mixed shapes and sizes, Vecoplan offers their VAZ grinder series that are fed vertically via a large hopper positioned above the cutting chamber. If most scrap is lineal, Vecoplan offers the VTH series of horizontally fed grinders. For edge rippings, slabs, moldings, profiles, flooring, or any long wood, VTH grinders are fed by a vibratory conveyor that comes standard with the machine.
