Flamex offers spark detection and suppression systems to eliminate dangerous sparks in dust extraction and pneumatic transport systems. The company says the Flamex system can sense a spark or burning material in the ductwork upstream of the collection equipment and suppress it with a minimal amount of water in milliseconds before it can travel further downstream and become an ignition source for a fire or explosion. Also offered are automatic and manual deluge systems, advanced heat and flame detectors, high-speed abort gates and water mist systems.
