Sensor performs layout and 3D measurement tasks

The Leica iCON iCS50 from Advanced Dimensions brings precision, speed, and simplicity to your field measuring workflow. Capture complex layouts with pinpoint accuracy, reduce manual errors, and streamline CAD integration like never before. Built for professionals, the iCS50 transforms how woodworkers measure, document, and deliver: faster, smarter, and with confidence.

The Leica iCON allows the user to capture high-precision measurement data, even from hard-to-access locations. The software immediately visualizes the measurement results as a 2D plan or 3D model on your tablet. This way, users can immediately see what was measured to ensure no measurement points were forgotten.

Automatic measurement workflows,  such as line and area scans, ensure even higher accuracy and efficiency. Simply define the measuring area by a start and end point, set the measuring intervals and start the scan, the company says.

This function is especially useful for  capturing complex contours, such as arched doors, spiral staircases or rooms with uneven walls. The automated relocation process uses visual targets to quickly and easily relocate the Leica iCON iCS50. Once the device is repositioned, it automatically finds and measures the vTargets, identifies its new position and can continue measuring right away. This saves time, avoids errors and allows the user to quickly resume measurement tasks.
