Router lift with four-post stability

The LX3 Router Lift from Laguna Tools is built around a 3/8" thick anodized aluminum top plate sized to fit standard 9-1/4" x 11-3/4" table openings. Laguna’s design keeps the upper plate surface ultra-clean by attaching components below the table, helping workpieces glide more smoothly across the table without catching on exposed hardware or debris-prone openings.

Engineered for precision and stability, the LX3 uses four widely spaced 3/4" Acme-threaded lift posts, one at each corner, to support the lift carriage. This four-corner support system is paired with a ribbed timing belt that rotates all four lift gears in unison, creating smooth, precise movement without the need for a lift lock. The result is a router lift designed to reduce vibration and maintain accuracy, even when handling heavier routers.

For height adjustments, the LX3 features a 5" precision handwheel with an increment dial for fine tuning. One full revolution equals 1/16" of movement, while each increment mark equals 1/512", allowing users to make highly controlled adjustments for detailed routing work.

Laguna also designed the LX3 for versatility across a wide range of routers. Its 3-jaw adjustable clamping system fits routers from 3" to 4.3" in diameter without requiring spacers, and its 4.9" of vertical travel gives users expanded flexibility across different applications. Convenience-focused features round out the package.

The LX3 includes magnetic insert rings with push-button release for faster, tool-free ring changes during bit swaps. Three insert rings are included, and leveling screws help ensure the rings sit flush with the top surface. The lift also features wide four-corner leveling pads for added support, side tensioners to reduce vibration in the table opening, and an included starter pin for use with bearing-guided bits during fence-free routing applications such as template work.
