Tisfoon Ulterior Systems introduces the SmartSaws Optimizer Retrofit (OR), designed for use by plants running older cut-off saws to offer more accurate sorting and typically increase run speeds by at least 20% and increase yield by approximately 5% - depending on cutbills - over the OEM control.  SmartSaws OR is also compatible with existing scanning systems from Tisfoon, WoodEye, Luxscan, Lucidyne and others.  Increased yield improvements are realized by advanced SmartSaws OR optimization engine, says the company.  The software establishes search parameters, better grade merging, and production-based optimization and improved feed line acceleration and accuracy plus increased saw stroke speed, according to the company. The entire system is run by user-friendly, intuitive software utilizing a touchscreen monitor for quick adjustments in production parameters. Tisfoon Ulterior Systems will be in Booth 6076 at IWF 2012.
