Rembe introduces the Targo-Vent for directed combustible dust explosion pressure venting. The Targo-Vent is an add-on module to the company’s explosion panels, and is designed to limit the opening angle of an explosion panel. If a panel ruptures, the explosion pressure wave, flames and heat are all directed into “safe” areas, says Rembe, decreasing the otherwise required hazard areas. The Targo-Vent is an alternative to conventional explosion venting, adds the company. The Targo-Vent  avoids the loss of usable areas or the need for implantation of more costly solutions such as indoor flameless venting systems, says the company.
