Cameron Automation, a division of the James L. Taylor Mfg. Co., introduces the Quick Match, a general purpose color sorting/matching machine using camera vision technology. The Quick Match consists of a color chamber that mounts above an existing conveyor, a computer that processes images and controls the process, and an inkjet printer that labels each board with a color category. In addition to color, the Quick Match measures the width and length of each board, which then can be tallied and the data archived.
