Holz-Her says the Evolution vertical CNC machining center provides four-sided machining with a workpiece holding system that leaves no pressure marks from the clamps. With its patent-pending vacuum clamping system, the Evolution provides vertical and horizontal drilling, saw cutting and routing without reclamping. It has a processing dimension of 3,200mm in direction X and 920mm in direction Y. Material thicknesses are adjusted from 8 to 70 on all Evolution models via a fully-automated workpiece adjustment with no setup time. The fully-automated vacuum clamping system is also equipped with the energy-saving ECO vacuum pumps as standard.
