Freedom Machine Tool, a division of Diversified Machine Systems, introduces its new FMT Patriot 5’ x 10’ 3-Axis CNC Router with a moving gantry design.  It offers users a larger machine alternative for those applications where the table size is critical, says the company.  Features in the machine include a full Fagor 8037 Industrial CNC Control, amplifier, and servo drive package with a 2-year limited warranty, absolute encoders on the brushless AC servo motors, a larger bridge package, an 8-position tool rack instead of the current 5, and a redesigned dust hood.  The Z-Axis tool plate with a 7”, servo driven, vertical stroke, is ready to accept a spindle option from FMT, or it can be configured by the customer.
