Edgemate announces the launch of their new domestic made real wood Thick veneer coils and Prefinished veneer coils. Edgemate is using state of the art technology to produce Thick coils and Prefinished coils in the U.S., making an entire new generation of products, says the company. The Edgemate system is proprietary using PUR technologies to produce Thick coils and Prefinished veneer. The PUR process ensures a stronger more permanent bond within the layers of the real wood thick veneer coils and offers greater flexibility and machining characteristics compared to PVA bonded layers. The Prefinished veneer has a PUR UV topcoat.  Making the products in the U.S. eliminates long lead times, says the company. The new Edgemate line of Thick coils and Prefinished products can be ordered in more than 40 species and cuts in 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm coils.
