Grinding machines for carbide-tipped circular saws

The CS 860 grinding machine for tooth faces and tops and the CSF 860 machine for tooth sides from Vollmer of America are designed for machining carbide-tipped circular saw blades with diameters up to 860 mm (34”) in a single clamping operation. The company says it has a uniform and intuitive operation that allow users to quickly learn to program the machine. It features innovative measuring equipment, handling systems for unmanned machining, as well as networked data exchange via a standard IoT Gateway. Users can automate the production processes for carbide-tipped circular saw blades with various tooth geometries.

Automation for lights out unmanned machining is possible with the Vollmer ND handling systems that can combine up to 3 grinding machines and can be equipped with up to 650 saw blades.
