The Leitz WhisperCut Plus milling cutterhead features low profile, dust control gullets that direct 95 percent of the chips away from cutting tips and toward dust collection intake, while reducing processing noise (-5 db), says the company. The lightweight body provides a smoother jump, and is easy on spindle bearings. Diamond tips can be sharpened up to 10 times, adds Leitz, and the reusable cutter body can be economically re-tooled.
