The Auto-Line features a 1/2-inch chuck supported by a pair of sealed ball bearings. It can be used with any corded or cordless drill as well as impact drivers, and has a stop collar for accurate depth control. The stop locks onto a taper milled in the column, minimizing any downward drift of the stop caused by repeated use. To drill holes larger than the 1-inch opening in the base, turn the chuck carrier around so it is outside the base.
