In March 2025, the U.S. construction unemployment rate remained at 5.4%, unchanged from the previous year. Nineteen states saw decreases, 25 saw increases, and six remained the same. Only four states had rates above 10%.

The Austin Business Journal is reporting that  Austin, Texas-based Delta Millworks plans to start work in June on a 33-acre, $34.7 million headquarters in Wimberley, Texas. The new site is expected to open next year with 88,000 square feet of building space, along with environmental features, like natural habitat for wildlife and walking trails.
