US Duct moves into massive North Carolina facility

US Duct, a ductwork manufacturer with a beloved duck as its mascot, celebrated a massive facility upgrade and expansion with a company-wide steak dinner. From six people drawing ductwork systems by hand to more than 140 team members operating in a sprawling 252,081-square-foot Archdale North Carolina facility, US Duct has come a long way since firing up its first welding torch in 2014.

Woodchuck, AI-powered wood waste tech, gains investments to expand

The investment underscores the company’s rapid traction with top contractors and its role in reshaping how the construction industry manages waste, cuts costs, and measures carbon impact. Woodchuck has already diverted more than 13,000 tons of wood waste from landfills, saved contractors 30–40% on waste-hauling costs, and delivered clean biomass energy to regional power producers.

Arclin acquires Willamette Valley

Arclin entered into an agreement to purchase Willamette Valley Co., a manufacturer and distributor of adhesives, coatings, meter and dispensing equipment, spray systems, ink jet systems and other products and services for the wood products and other industries. Arclin provides a variety of products including decorative overlays, panel products, and performance polymers and chemicals for the woodworking industry.
