ATHENS, Ga. — Webber Coleman Woodworks in Watkinsville, Georgia, has purchased Cappy’s Custom Cabinets in Bogart, Georgia. Details of the acquisition were not released.

By joining forces with a successful and established business, Webber Coleman Woodworks can combine the expertise of residential and commercial cabinetry and serve their clients even better, according to Jessica Webber, owner of Webber Coleman Woodworks.

“We are always raising the bar with unique designs, quality finished products, and superb customer interaction and are looking forward to bringing these same values to commercial clients,” she said. “I have had great respect for Cappy for the years I have known him and observed his business and am excited about the opportunity to continue his legacy.”

Mark Capobianco, AKA “Cappy”, owner of Cappy’s Custom Cabinets said “In 1996 with a strong desire to own my own business and make a career change, after 20 years in hotel food and beverage, I figured how hard can it be to build a square box? It turned out that there was far more to learn than just how to build a square box, but looking back over the years my only regret was not doing it sooner. It has been very rewarding.”

Cappy’s Custom Cabinets' success over the years has been built on the philosophy that they needed to deliver high-quality commercial laminate cabinets on or before schedule.

“I am confident with Jessica’s leadership over Webber Coleman Woodworks, this will continue to be the standard as they expand their offerings to the commercial market,” he said. “I am grateful for the employees who stayed with me over the years and the many customers who put their confidence in our ability to deliver a quality product on time for their projects. I have made many friends in the industry and built relationships, which have lasted for 27 years.

"I am appreciative and confident those relationships will continue with the new ownership.” Webber Coleman Woodworks will continue to operate on the principles of the former businesses- striving to be the cabinet supplier of choice by excelling in the areas of timeliness, quality, and service with integrity and honesty."
