COON RAPIDS, Minn. — Lexington Manufacturing, a provider of engineered component solutions for the building products industry, has acquired Tru-Cut, Inc., a high-density fiberboard and lumber manufacturer based in Anderson, Indiana. This strategic acquisition marks a significant step in Lexington's continued growth and commitment to delivering operational excellence and long-term value to its customers and partners.
Tru-Cut, Inc. brings decades of experience in supplying quality OEM components to customers across North America. By joining forces, Lexington and Tru-Cut are combining complementary strengths, shared values, and a mutual dedication to quality and customer service.
Tru-Cut had 11 employees as well as some temporary employees, all of which are staying with Lexington during the transition and will bring Lexington's total employee count to 290. A group of Lexington team members are currenlty in Indiana helping the Tru-Cut group transition and answer any questions they may have.
Additionally, Tru-Cut will not be operating as Tru-Cut anymore, but will be under the Lexington Manufacturing name. This will be Lexington's first facility in Indiana. Lexington has locations in Coon Rapids, Minnesota; Ramsey, Minnesota; Brainerd, Minnesota and Covington, Georgia. The terms of the purchase price were not shared with Woodworking Network as neither entity is a publicly traded company. Lexington Manufacturing is ranked #90 on the FDMC 300 list, a listing of the largest wood products manufacturers in North America.
"This acquisition is about more than growth—it's about alignment," said Mike Dillon, president at Lexington Manufacturing. "Tru-Cut's capabilities and strong position in the market are a natural fit with Lexington's, and together we're better positioned to meet the evolving market demands with greater efficiency and expertise."
The integration of Tru-Cut into Lexington's operations will expand the company's manufacturing footprint and enhance its ability to serve customers nationwide. While the transition is underway, both companies are committed to maintaining continuity and transparency for customers, employees, and partners.
