LOS ANGELES, CA - Maine-based Thos. Moser, designers and builders of wood furniture, recently announced the winners of its first "Thos. Moser Student Design Challenge."
The competition was organized with help from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles and the Southern California chapters of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).
The competition was the culmination of a FIDM program in “Furniture Construction and Design.” Advance interior design students were invited to design companion pieces for the iconic Thos. Moser Chaise. This challenge to create a “Friend of the Moser Chaise” resulted in three winners being chosen, including:.
1. Paul Templeman-Holmes, Moser Design Committee Award;
2. Edith Ponciano, ASID President’s Award; and
3. Kamilah Gayle, People’s Choice Award.
