INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Techniks Industries, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has announced its rebranding to Frontline Tooling Solutions. The newly formed organization serves as the parent company to its two independent platform companies: Techniks Tool Group, a provider of toolholders, workholding, and other machine tool accessories, and NAPGladu, a cutting tools service and products provider to the secondary wood, composite, and other industries.

Frontline Tooling Solutions will continue to support an acquisition-focused strategy with the goal of achieving global growth and new market development for its two companies, as well as providing one-stop tooling solutions for customers across all of their professional tooling needs.

Prior to this rebranding, Frontline Tooling Solutions formed Techniks Tool Group, which is a result of the combination of two brands in the industry, Parlec and Techniks. Since acquiring Parlec in April 2017, Frontline Tooling Solutions has brought both teams together to combine the strengths of the two organizations, including sales and customer support, customization through engineering and product development, and multiple channels to market.

Techniks Tool Group will focus on new product development, new market entry, and complementary acquisitions to drive a “spindle to cutting tool” strategy.
