Stiles Machinery's manufacturing seminar showcased new technology

High Point, N.C. — Stiles Machinery recently hosted the Manufacturing Solutions Seminar in High Point, North Carolina, on November 13 and 14. The biannual event brought together woodworking manufacturers, business owners, and industry professionals from across North America to participate in live machinery demonstrations, engaging presentations and interactive breakout sessions.

Held at Stiles' state-of-the-art showroom, the seminar allowed attendees to explore the latest trends, technologies and strategies shaping the woodworking industry. Emphasizing innovation and automated technologies, the event featured sessions covering topics such as compact manufacturing, nested machining flexibility, and automated finishing, along with discussions on modernizing solid wood manufacturing and scalable automation solutions.

“I came to learn more about the new technologies out on the market, and everyone's ability to give answers to our questions has just been absolutely delightful,” said Ron Harrigan, managing partner at SIPS Resource Group. He attended the show for the first time this year, which introduced him to a machine that will help his company cut production time and improve accuracy. “Seeing all the equipment laid out in an order in which it could run helped us focus on it and evaluate it. We’re happy we were invited, and we’ll be back again.”

Thomas Allott, director of talent development at Stiles Machinery and emcee of the event, reflected on the seminar, stating, “Each MSS brings with it its own dynamic energy and focus. One thing I love about this industry is the passion everyone has for evolving and growing, and how dedicated they are to their craft. It’s a privilege to connect with such an engaged and experienced group of professionals while exploring the solutions, technology and innovations that will lead the industry into the future."

As the woodworking industry continues to evolve, events like the Manufacturing Solutions Seminar are vital in equipping manufacturers with the knowledge, tools and resources needed for success. By promoting innovation and collaboration, Stiles Machinery remains dedicated to propelling the industry forward and supporting the growth and prosperity of woodworking professionals.
