announced the opening of a newly remodeled and expanded 177,000-square-foot molding manufacturing facility in Louisville.

The company said its decision to invest more than $250,000 to remodel and expand the facility was due in part to its acquisition of the Lazy Daisy product line from Peter Meier Inc. of Connersville, NC, last June.

The plant includes eight injection molding machines and the expansion has created more than 60 jobs.

“This expansion in space and molding capability is a natural extension of our goal to reduce costs and diversify products and price points based on market demands,” said David Noe, general manager. “In a modern manufacturing model we can efficiently blend the materials we make, import and distribute to provide a unique level of service.”
