ADDISON, Texas — Texas-based Republic Elite, a manufacturer of multifamily cabinets and countertops, has acquired a state-of-the-art cabinet manufacturing facility located in Mendota, Illinois.

The acquisition reinforces Republic Elite’s "commitment to delivering quality, speed, and scale to its partners nationwide." Once integrated into Republic Elite’s manufacturing network, the company says this plant will boost capacity, enhance production lead times, and support the growing demand for customized cabinetry solutions across the U.S Midwest markets.

"The Mendota location is an exciting addition to the Republic Elite footprint and provides an ideal location that aligns well with our operational and growth strategies” said Republic Elite’s Geoff Bennett, CEO.

The acquisition is expected to create new jobs and stimulate economic growth in the Mendota community.

Republic Elite, is a FDMC 300 listed company, ranking #69 on the list of top North American wood products manufacturers. It has manufacturing facilities in Marshall, Texas; Tracy, California; Atlanta, Georgia; and the newly acquired Mendota.

Republic Elite represents the union of two of the most trusted names in multifamily interiors: cabinet pioneer Republic Industries and countertop expert Elite Multifamily Interiors. The company was founded in Texas in 1975. At the time, it was largely focused on manufacturing traditional framed cabinetry in the Marshall, Texas plant.
